Genesee County is proud to honor its commitment to serving veterans, continuing a longstanding tradition of supporting those who have bravely served our nation. In collaboration with federal, state, and local partners, Genesee County is dedicated to ensuring that veterans have access to the resources and services they need to thrive.

This Veterans Day, Genesee County joins the National Association of Counties (NACo) and the National Association of County Veterans Service Officers (NACVSO) in participating in Operation Green Light. From November 4-11, 2024, Genesee County buildings will be illuminated in green as a symbol of recognition and appreciation for our veterans. By shining a green light, our community expresses gratitude and solidarity, letting our veterans know they are seen, valued, and supported.

To show your support, join us in this initiative, and stay tuned for updates on our participation in Operation Green Light.
