Our Services

  • Guidance Through Legal Proceedings: We'll keep you informed about the progress of the investigation and provide clarity on what to expect in court.

  • Emotional Support: We offer referrals to counseling services and provide a safe space for you to express your feelings and concerns.

  • Financial Assistance: We assist in seeking compensation for any financial losses incurred as a result of the crime, including helping with applications for the New York State Office of Victim Services and submitting restitution claims.

  • Practical Assistance: From filing paperwork to assisting with obtaining orders of protection, we're here to alleviate logistical burdens so you can focus on healing.

Victim Assistance Services

  • Assistance in preparing application for orders of protection

  • Assist with the VINELink registration process (Victim Information and Notification Everyday) 

  • Provide updates as the case proceeds through the criminal justice process

  • Preparation of victim impact statement for inclusion in pre-sentence investigation packets 

  • Accompaniment to court appearances

  • Home visits

  • Referrals for emergency assistance and to other appropriate agencies for assistance

  • Support with the NYS Department of Corrections and Community Supervision parole board communication
