Completed applications should be mailed or faxed to the address above. Approved permits will be returned to haulers within two days.

Driveway Permits

Genesee County does issue formal permits for new driveways on County Roads. Property owners are required to purchase smooth interior plastic culvert pipe, if needed. The County Public Works Department will provide labor and materials at their schedule to install the pipe. Please contact the Deputy DPW Commissioner at 344-8508 to schedule your driveway culvert installation. The DPW Department does also allow contractors to install driveways and driveway culverts at the homeowners schedule.  These installations also do require a permit.
