Who plows my road?

Genesee County has contracts with all of the towns to provide snow plow and roadside mowing services for county roads within that town. This provides a mutually budget friendly solution for plowing services, allowing the town highway departments to get paid to plow the county roads while they are plowing town roads within their jurisdiction, and significantly increases the response time during snowfall events. Genesee County Highway crews plow all county facilities, GCC, Cornell Cooperative Extension, and town and county roads on the east side of Batavia.
