Directions to DeWitt Recreation Area
Address:115 Cedar St., Batavia, NY 14020
From East or West of Batavia, NY:
Take the NYS Thruway (I-90) to exit 48.
After exiting toll barriers, proceed 1/10th of a mile to the light and turn left onto Route 98 South.
Travel approximately 1.1 miles and turn left onto Route 5 East.
Travel on Route 5 for approximately 1.5 miles and turn right onto Cedar Street.
The park is located approximately 1/2 mile on the left-hand side of the street.
Entrance Information:
Enter through the main entrance to access Pavilions 1, 2, or the fishing dock.
The playground can be accessed through the South entrance.

From the Thruway:
Take exit 48 off the Thruway.
After exiting toll, turn left onto Route 98 South and travel 0.9 miles.
Turn left onto Route 5/Route 63/West Main Street and travel 0.2 miles.
At the monument, turn right onto Ellicott Street/Route 63 East and continue to follow Route 63 East for 3.7 miles.
Turn right onto Bethany Center Road and continue for 5.7 miles.
Turn left into the Park entrance onto Memory Lane and continue to the Interpretive Center.
From the West:
Take Route 20 East.
Turn left onto Old Telephone Road and then right onto Bethany Center Road.
Turn left into the Park entrance onto Memory Lane and continue to the Interpretive Center.
From the East:
Take Route 20 West.
Turn right onto Old Telephone Road and then left onto Bethany Center Road.
Turn left into the Park entrance onto Memory Lane and continue to the Interpretive Center.
Additional Entrance Information:
Turn left onto Raymond Rd. if you are going to the main entrance, the Toboggan hill, or Pavilions A, B, B1, B2, C, D, S, S1, S2, or S3.
Access the back entrance by continuing through the Raymond Rd. intersection approximately 100 yards and turning left onto Memory Lane. Follow Memory Lane to access the Interpretive Nature Center or Pavilions E, E1, E2, F, G, H, or Fleming.
