Instructions:
Registration Renewal: If you received a renewal form from Albany, complete, sign, and return it by mail or drop it off with a check payable to Genesee County Clerk. Transactions are processed daily and mailed back to you.
License Renewal: You need an eye exam, your eye doctor can complete a MV-619, or visit a local supermarket linked with the NYS Vision Registry. Submit the renewal form, a check, and a copy of your driver’s license via drop box. If you didn’t receive a form, print and use MV-44.
Plate Surrender: Drop off with $1.00 cash (no checks) in the drop box. A receipt (FS-6T) will be mailed to you. Transactions are processed daily.
